PRIVATE RESERVE PINOT NOIR
Pinot Noir is a classic, delicate red, bringing out subtle fruit in the bouquet. The taste is highlighted with a fruitiness that just rises above the smooth red wine character.
Extended carbonic maceration extracts all the fruit flavours this variety boasts, and a balanced tannin level maintained early-on, results in mature soft tannins. Hints of black cherry & berries are evident throughout this lightly oaked wine.
Pairs well with a wide range of today’s lighter meals, such as salmon, fowl, turkey and veal, as well as with traditional heavier styled foods, including game. An excellent complement to robust cheeses.
